Thank you for your interest in POMBA!

Membership with POMBA is open to everyone – the only criteria we have is that you must be a parent, expectant parent, or guardian of multiples (twins, triplets, quads or more) aged under 18 in order to join POMBA Nova Scotia.

Once your membership has been completed you’ll have access to all kinds of useful information, resources and support.

Memberships are valid from July through June and are renewed annually.

• Events throughout the year, such as Trunk or Treat, Christmas Party and Summer Picnic

• Members-only priority when shopping at the clothing and equipment sale

• Discounts at local merchants, travel and national chains

• Access to our resources, including two members-only Facebook pages for networking, sharing and keeping up to date with the most recent news, plus a newsletter which is emailed to you the start of each month

• Twin breastfeeding pillow rentals, WeeGo carriers and hospital-grade breast pump rentals

• The chance to get involved! POMBA is a volunteer-run organization, staffed only by volunteers. We are always eager to match an interested volunteer with a role or activity

POMBA membership fees for January 2024 – June 2024 are as follows:

• Family: $17.50 (Regular $35.00)

• Single Parent: $15.00 (Regular $30.00)

• Out of Town (more than 100 km from HRM): $15.00 (Regular $30.00)

• Alumni (multiples over 10): $5.00 (Regular $10.00)

Your membership is valid from July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024, regardless of when payment is made.

HOW TO JOIN:

In order to join POMBA or renew your membership, please complete the two following steps:

1. Please complete the Membership Application below.

2. Chose the Membership Level below and complete payment through the website. If you prefer to pay through e-transfer, please send your EMT to treasurer.pomba@gmail.com using “membership” as the password.

Kindly note that your membership will not be complete without the application form AND payment.
